Asus shows off 14-inch and 32-inch ProArt displays for creatives alongside a 15.6-inch portable monitor for professionals on the go
Asus unveiled two new displays for creatives and a portable monitor aimed at road warriors.
The Asus ProArt Display PA148CTV is a small 14-inch FHD (1920x1080) IPS monitor that supports 10-point multitouch. The PA14 is the world’s first Calman Verified portable display thanks to its 100% coverage of both the sRGB and Rec. 709 color spaces. The monitor is color calibrated for extreme color accuracy with a DeltaE of less than 2.
The key features of the PA14 are its programmable hotkeys and Asus dial. The hotkeys support features and functions in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. The Dial, which is mounted on the back of the unit, is compatible with both Adobe software and Microsoft Surface Dial controls. The display has two USB-C ports (display and power) and a micro HDMI port as well as a tripod mount and integrated kickstand.
The Asus ProArt Display PA329CV is a standard desktop monitor. The 32-inch 4K (3840x2160) display covers 100% of the sRGB color space and is calibrated with a DeltaE of less than 2. It is also HDR400 compliant. The PA32 has two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, and one USB-C port (w/ DisplayPort) that delivers up to 90 Watts.
While the ProArt displays are meant for creatives, the Asus ZenScreen MB16ACV is a 15.6-inch portable FullHD monitor designed for professionals on the go. The MB16 is covered with an antibacterial ionic silver compound to fight off germs and connects via either a USB-C or USB-A 3.0 port. It has an integrated kickstand and a ¼” thread mount for use with tripods.
The Asus ProARt Display PA329CV will be available starting Q1 2021. The Asus ProArt Display PA148CTV and ZenScreen MB16ACV will be available starting in Q2 2021. Pricing was not announced as of press time.
