Reviews for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 SM-T590N
The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is Samsung's update of its mid-range Galaxy Tab A 10.1 tablet. The 10.5-inch Android device is supposed to set itself apart from its competition with its WUXGA display, Dolby Atmos sound, a family-friendly kids mode and long battery runtimes.

Archive.org versionIn India, we don't have a lot of choice when it comes to Android tablets, as Samsung is pretty much the only manufacturer with an up-to-date portfolio. At Rs. 29,990, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is one of the better models of this size around. It has updated software and LTE functionality, great battery life, good build quality, a sleek design, and terrific sounding speakers. On the other hand, the processor is too weak to even consider doing any serious work or gaming. There also aren't many accessories that are easily available.

Archive.org versionAs a content consumption device, the tablet works well. It has a decent display with a good resolution, but the viewing angles suffer. The audio is legible, but I wish the speakers packed some bass and represented the background scores of movies better. When it comes to performance and battery life, the device gets the job done well. You can play all the games from the play store, run movie streaming services, and multitask with ease. For the price, it will satisfy those looking for a device that can be great for content consumption and making the occasional phone call.

Archive.org versionThe Galaxy Tab A is a pretty basic Android tablet that works well as a multimedia device. It has a bright and vivid display that's quite immersive thanks to its tall form factor, but I feel Samsung could have reduced the bezels further if it had to remove the home button. It also comes with pretty good battery life with fast charging support and a simple yet easy to hold design. It's a device that is for you if you're not looking for a particularly productivity-focused tablet.
