Courtesy of an ongoing sale, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ can now be purchased with a $31 discount on Walmart. The newly-launched affordable tablet boasts a powerful SoC, a 90 Hz FHD display, and decent build quality.

Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 Plus went on sale in the US just a few weeks ago, it has already started receiving notable discounts. Currently, the capable mid-range tablet with WiFi and 128 GB storage can be purchased for just $219 on Walmart, down from its retail price of $249.99.

The Tab A11 Plus packs an 11-inch 90 Hz IPS display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200, allowing a respectable pixel density of around 205. With a peak brightness of over 535 nits, the tablet's display is quite usable outdoors as well. Color reproduction leaves a lot to be desired, but is okay enough considering the price bracket. Our in-depth review reveals satisfaction with the tablet's overall build quality, sporting an aluminium enclosure.

The Galaxy Tab A11 Plus is a well-specced budget tablet with admirable performance

Performance is quite respectable, powered by the Mediatek MT8775 SoC with 6 GB memory, which features an identical core setup as the popular Dimensity 7300. UFS 3.1 storage also helps the tablet feel snappy, while the Mali G615 MC2 iGPU handles non-intensive tasks pretty well. When compared with the competition, we did not encounter any major performance-related drawbacks in our review of the tablet.

Should the 128 GB of on-board storage not suffice, the Tab A11+ boasts support for up to 2 TB microSD cards, which is definitely welcome. Battery life, at around 15 hours of use according to our tests, should be acceptable for most use cases. The 8 MP rear camera is useful for taking quick snaps and scanning documents, and the 5 MP front camera is passable for the occasional selfie.

At its current discounted price on Walmart, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ is undoubtedly a very decent product at an equally attractive price. For students and folks on a stiuct budget, the A11 Plus manages to tick all the crucial boxes. That said, folks who would prefer a substantially better display but are willing to deal with a much less powerful SoC, the Lenovo Idea Tab (currently $180 on Amazon) might be a good choice.
