Rumor | Samsung Galaxy S23 to launch in new Lime colorway soon

The Galaxy S23 series debuted in Phantom Black, Green, Lilac and Cream (with additional options such as Graphite and Sky Blue reserved as Samsung.com exclusives): shades chosen to reflect the OEM's increasing awareness of its effect on the environment. However, the resulting muted theme is apparently due a dash of sharp contrast soon.

Samsung's new hints at a "refreshing" twist on an existing palette of device colors has led to speculation that the Galaxy S23 will be re-released in the OEM's Lime colorway - then again, it just might be a sign of the allegedly impending S23 FE.

Then again, the OEM's revival of its "Epic" tag-line from earlier in 2023, not to mention an artful, triple rear camera ring-like display of the citrus fruit in question, most likely indicates that the S23 (and S23+, perhaps) are indeed slated for availability in the much brighter and more vibrant colorway also found in new mid-rangers such as the Galaxy A54 and A34.

Then again, as Samsung India is responsible for this teaser, it may be possible that the new S23 in Lime may not be available elsewhere. If so, it may be released at a starting price of about INR 74,998 (~US$917) on its launch.
