SUPER73 has announced that it is working on its first ever motorcycle - however, like its current line of distinctive bikes, this C1X will be electric. The OEM touts it as a ground-breaking project in that it combines the best features of both vehicle types - with fast charging and LED lighting to boot. Its current prototype is backed to lead to a market-ready version in the near future.

SUPER73 might appeal to some consumers interested in e-bikes thanks to their combination of premium, cafe- or cruiser-style builds with pedals, thus seeming like a non-ICE 2-wheeler that belongs in full-on traffic nonetheless. Its latest "electric concept vehicle" is touted to take the brand further along these lines than ever before.

The C1X is indeed depicted as much more of a motorbike in its current form, with low-profile 15-inch wheels, a noticeable suspension coil under its long seat and an enclosed frame as one might expect. However, it has also been designed to support the "twist throttle and hand brakes" more familiar to e-bike riders in place of foot controls.

Furthermore, it is rated to have a "fast charger" that looks more like that of a Tesla and can apparently fill the bike's battery by 80% in just 15 minutes. Accordingly, the SUPER73 C1X might attract those looking to upgrade from their current e-bike, but need to stop short of proceeding to a whole electric car.

The C1X is defined as a "Phase 2 concept vehicle" with no further specs such as battery size or top speed to date; nevertheless, SUPER73 is taking reservations of US$73 or €73 from today (May 3, 2023) to "get you first in line tomorrow" for its upcoming "technological marval".
