Realme tipped to launch world's first 300W SuperVOOC smartphone soon
Realme has already confirmed that it has the fastest charging technology for Android smartphones to date, outpacing even the GT3 at 300W. However, it has yet to produce a device that supports the ground-breaking new spec.
It might be getting closer and closer now, however, in the form of the GT7 Pro. The device is rumored to become one of a handful of new flagship Android smartphones with an extra-large new battery, one that could meet or even exceed 6,000mAh in reported capacity.
However, unlike its fellow alleged endurance monsters, it is now tipped to pair the spec with what might be introduced as 300W SuperVOOC technology, capable of bringing the GT7 Pro back up to 100% in as little as 5 minutes.
Realme might not be content with that level of cutting-edge upgrade in its GT6 successor. It is also now backed to equip the 7 Pro with the highly-accurate ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor rumored to become a hallmark of 2024-5 Android flagships.
Moreover, the GT7 Pro is now also touted to come with an official IP69 rating to prevent damage from water or dust, whereas even devices like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (currently starting at $949 with up to 27% discounts on Amazon) make do with IP68.
