Powerful Intel-equipped FEVM mini PC launches with performance Nvidia GPUs

Alongside the FEVM FA80G, which is powered by AMD processors, the company has introduced the FN80G, and it pairs desktop Intel CPUs with Nvidia RTX GPUs. However, compared to the former, the Intel-equipped variant has a more affordable starting price, and it's available with one GPU option that's not present on the AMD version.

Specifically, the FEVM FN80G mini is available with desktop Intel Arrow Lake processors. Its base configuration brings the Intel Core Ultra 5 230F, a China-exclusive Arrow Lake processor that comes with no iGPU, and per Chinese outlets, it has what it takes to match the gaming performance of the Ultra 5 245K while being power efficient.

Nonetheless, this base configuration pairs the somewhat efficient Core Ultra 5 230F with the Nvidia RTX 5060 Laptop GPU. The mid-range option upgrades the processor to the Intel Core Ultra 5 250KP and pairs it with the desktop Nvidia RTX 5060 Ti 16GB GPU (Zotac Twin Edge OC curr. $505.67 on Amazon). There's one configuration with the same GPU but with the Intel Core Ultra 7 270KP, which stands as a strong middle-of-the-line option for 1440p gaming.

The configurations with the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus and Ultra 7 270K Plus are also available with the RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. As for the top-of-the-line option, it pairs the 270KP with the RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.

FEVM says that the GPU and the CPU of the mini PC can offer up to 250W of performance, and there's a proper cooling setup to keep both at optimal temperatures. The mini PC can be equipped with 128GB of DDR5 RAM, and there are two M.2 slots for NVMe storage.

As for the port configuration, while the mini PC has a 2.6-liter chassis, it brings a generous number of ports. That includes:

One thing to note about the ports is that the AMD variant didn't have a 10GbE port, and this fast Ethernet port can be handy for those planning to use this mini PC as a home server as well. For wireless connectivity, there's WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

This new Intel mini PC has a starting price of CNY 6,999, about $1,042, which is the tag for the barebone configuration with the Ultra 5 230F and RTX 5060. The option with the desktop RTX 5060 Ti starts at CNY 9,399, around $1,400, while the top-end option with the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and RTX 5090 Laptop GPU costs CNY 23,999, about $3,575. FEVM is also offering these configurations with up to 64GB of RAM and 2TB of storage.

There's nothing on global availability yet, but FEVM products tend to end up on retailers like AliExpress shortly after their Chinese launch. The case for this gaming mini PC should be the same.
