Aoostar teases powerful AMD-powered mini PC with up to 192GB of RAM

Aoostar has teased a powerful mini PC that's equipped with the top-end APU within the AMD Gorgon Halo lineup, the Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495. It's the successor to the Nex395, which has yet to be released in the global market, and is called Nex495S.
The AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495 would put it in competition with the Minisforum MS-S1 Max-P495, but per the teaser, the Aoostar mini PC will be more compact than Minisforum's offering. Of course, that also means that the Nex495S won't have support for a PCIe x16 expansion, which the latter offers.
Nonetheless, while Aoostar didn't reveal much about the mini PC, the company did confirm that there will be support for up to 192GB of RAM. Of this, 160GB of memory can be allocated as the VRAM for the AMD Radeon 8065S, which is a slightly more capable iGPU than the 8060S, and per our analysis, the latter can deliver the same level of performance as the Nvidia RTX 4070 Laptop GPU.
Speaking of performance, there won't be much of a bump over the Nex395, which is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, but the teaser suggests that the Nex495S won't have the same chassis. Instead, the mini PC seems to have a flatter body, and this could possibly bring better port configuration than the last-gen system.
More details about the Aoostar Nex495S are expected to emerge soon. However, given that the company didn't bring the Nex395 outside the Chinese market, the chances of this one going global are slim (AI Max+ 395-equipped 64/128GB Minisforum N5 MAX curr. $2,399 on Amazon).
