Oukitel is currently hyping its next tablet as one that combines the detachable handle/strap support of its forebears with a larger display. It also boasts RT-series IP68/IP69K/MIL-STD-810H-rated durability and slightly upgraded 48MP/20MP Night Vision/5MP macro rear cameras. Then again, it drops the extra-large battery and 5G support of its immediate predecessor.

Oukitel is now teasing a new rugged tablet that, with its triple rear cameras and modular portability system, looks a lot like the preceding RT7 Titan from the back. However, some changes have been made in this upcoming generation.

The RT8 has the ubiquitous (and possibly even overdone at this point) Helio G99 rather than the Dimensity 720, suggesting that the standalone connectivity only gets as good as 4G/LTE in the upcoming slate. Then again, it has a larger 11-inch display with the on-trend 2K resolution.

Despite that upgrade, however, it is a 20,000mAh device, thereby leaving the unprecedented battery specs to its forebear - then again, this RT8 is not a Titan variant. Accordingly, with its starting 6GB/256GB expandable storage SKU, it might be more of a spiritual successor to the RT6, currently priced at $379.99 on Amazon.

Then again, Oukitel has yet to unveil pricing or availability for the upcoming RT8.
