One-Netbook has introduced a few novel devices of late. For context, it released the OneXFly F1 Pro gaming handheld with a fast OLED display and AMD's Ryzen AI 9 365 or Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APUs. More recently, it showcased the OneXPlayer G1 and OneXSugar, which depart from the conventional form factors of modern gaming handhelds in various areas.
Additionally, it has now upgraded the OneXPlayer X1, which it last updated with the Ryzen 7 8840U in mid-June (curr. $1,069 on Amazon). For reference, the 10.95-inch gaming handheld was initially available with Intel's Core Ultra 7 155H, just like the original MSI Claw.
However, One-Netbook has swapped the Ryzen 7 8840U for the newer Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. As part of this upgrade, the company has re-branded the device to the 'OneXPlayer X1 Pro', presumably because of the CPU and GPU performance advantages the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 enjoys over the Ryzen 7 8840U.
As far as we can tell, the OneXPlayer X1 Pro contains the same 120 Hz and 2.5K IPS display as the original OneXPlayer X1, though. Likewise, it retains a 65 Wh battery, a PCIe 4.0 SSD, detachable controllers and OcuLink connectivity. Currently, One-Netbook expected to start shipping the OneXPlayer X1 Pro on January 3 at the following discounted pre-sale prices:
- $1,399 - 32 GB RAM/1 TB SSD ($1,599 MSRP)
- $1,499 - 32 GB RAM/2 TB SSD ($1,699 MSRP)
- $1,699 - 64 GB RAM/2 TB SSD ($1,859 MSRP)
- $1,799 - 64 GB RAM/4 TB SSD ($1,999 MSRP)
