Lenovo is offering processor options up to an i7 Tiger Lake for the Intel models or up to a Ryzen 7 4800U for the AMD models. The Intel models are a bit bulkier as they get the best features including up to 40 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, up to 3 TB of storage, an MX450 dGPU option and a Thunderbolt 4 connector. The AMD models, however, are limited to up to 16 GB LPDDR4x-4266 RAM, up to 1 TB storage, and they do not get a dGPU option, but they also are lighter and slimmer.

It's no secret that the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 seems to have trouble with stable overclocks. The fly in the ointment could be the use of low-quality capacitors, as discovered by Igor's Lab. While the T4 is based on the same TU104 GPU that powers the GeForce RTX 2080 Super, a measure 70W TDP could mean a poor 4K experience relative to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

A video clip of the purported MIUI 13 power menu animation has recently been leaked. Along with that, a completely unofficial and somewhat bewildering MIUI 13 eligible device list has been drawn up that includes the practically ancient Redmi Note 4 but forgets about the Xiaomi Mi 9 series and the brand-new Redmi Note 9 range.

Xiaomi looks to be keeping up rather nicely with security patches—at least on some of its phones. After sending out the September update to the Indian model of the Redmi Note 8 Pro, the company is now rolling out the update to the global variants of the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Epic Games and Spotify are founder-members of a new 'anti-app-tax' organization

Epic Games has been in open litigious conflict with Apple over the latter's 30% levy on developer revenue in exchange for the use of its App Store. Now, the studio has escalated this situation with the implementation of the Coalition for App Fairness (CAF), a new non-profit for "developer rights". Spotify, another company openly disgruntled with Apple's "unfair" practices, has also helped form the group.

The RTX 3090 may be an exceptional card, but it is not powerful enough for native 8K gaming across the board according to multiple reviews. The US$1,499 card can handle 8K gaming using DLSS 2.1, but that is not 8K gaming in the truest of senses.
