Last week, we reported that POCO India had teased the POCO X3 Pro's launch date for March 30. POCO India has since confirmed that it will be launching another smartphone on March 30, but POCO Global will making an announcement eight days earlier. In one tweet, POCO Global has described its March 22 launch event as the 'biggest POCO launch of the year', make of that what you will.
Incidentally, TechDroider and Ishan Agarwal have revealed POCO X3 Pro marketing renders in several colours. According to the latter, Xiaomi has called the device's three colours Phantom Black, Metal Bronze and Frost Blue. Based on the renders, Xiaomi has equipped the POCO X3 Pro with four rear-facing cameras, of which a 48 MP sensor is the largest. The device also has a single front-facing camera contained behind a notch and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
These details match those contained within a leak by Xiaomi & MIUI News, on which we reported. Apparently, the POCO X3 Pro will also have a 120 Hz AMOLED display, a 5,160 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 860 SoC. Moreover, DealnTech claims to have found a European retailer listing for the POCO X3 Pro, which shows the device with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. If this listing is accurate, then the POCO X3 Pro will start at €269 in Europe, while the 8 GB of RAM model retailing for €319.
