The Xiaomi Redmi K40 Pro is billed to launch as the POCO F3 Pro internationally as launch markets of the POCO X3 Pro, POCO F3 and two versions of the Mi 11 Lite revealed
Xiaomi Firmware Updater may be an open-source community project that provides download links for Xiaomi devices, making it an invaluable tool for those who want to update their smartphones manually. However, the project now claims to have received exclusive information about the availability of five upcoming Xiaomi smartphones.
We are unsure from where Xiaomi Firmware Updater has received its information, but the wording of its tweets suggest it could be from MIUI build data. Additionally, the models mentioned tally with other leaks on which we have reported. According to the project, Xiaomi plans to release the Mi 11 Lite, POCO X3 Pro, POCO F3 and the POCO F3 Pro in the following markets and MIUI branches:
- Mi 11 Lite 4G
- Global, EEA, Turkey, India, Russia, Indonesia
- Mi 11 Lite 5G
- China, Global, EEA, Turkey, Indonesia, Russia, Taiwan
- POCO X3 Pro
- Global, EEA, Turkey, Indonesia, Russia, India
- POCO F3
- Global, EEA, India, Indonesia, Turkey, Russia, Taiwan
- POCO F3 Pro
- Global, EEA, India, Indonesia, Turkey, Russia, Taiwan
Xiaomi Firmware Updater adds that the POCO F3 will be the international edition of the Redmi K40, as recent certifications have seemingly confirmed. However, it also states that Xiaomi will release the Redmi K40 Pro outside China as the POCO F3 Pro, which we have not heard not before. It would not be a stretch to think that Xiaomi would do so though, seeing as it released the Redmi K30 Pro internationally as the POCO F2 Pro.
