Xiaomi has started to distribute a new update to the Mi Watch Lite. The software, assigned the build number 4.1.20, can be downloaded and installed via the Xiaomi Wear app on your smartphone and then transferred to the smartwatch. According to Xiaomi, 4.1.20 allows the Mi Watch Lite to automatically switch to a Do Not Disturb mode, although we cannot fathom why the device did not ship with this feature.
Additionally, Xiaomi has added a button for dismissing incoming calls from an Android smartphone, along with a new settings option for adjusting wrist gesture sensitivity. Moreover, you can now adjust vibration modes on the Mi Watch Lite, which is another feature that should have been available before 4.1.20, in our opinion. Likewise, Xiaomi has finally added a notification reminder if your smartwatch and smartphone become disconnected, for some reason.
The Mi Watch Lite has a 1.4-inch display that resolves at 320 x 320 pixels and a brightness of up to 350 nits. According to Xiaomi, the device should last up to nine days between charges, although this battery estimate drops if you enable its heart rate monitor and GPS tracking. Xiaomi has included eleven sports modes too, for reference. You can read more information about the Mi Watch Lite in our corresponding review.
