Deal | HP Omen 15 with Zen 3 Ryzen 5 CPU and GeForce RTX 3060 graphics is back on sale for an even cheaper $1120 USD
The system is several hundred dollars cheaper than other gaming laptops equipped with the same GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, 144 Hz IPS display, 512 GB NVMe SSD, and quad-zone RGB backlight keyboard. RAM is limited but thankfully not soldered.
After being unavailable shortly after its first sale two weeks ago, the HP Omen 15 is down in price yet again to be one of the better GeForce RTX 3060 laptops you can find for the price.
The deal is notable because the configuration in question is the latest 2021 model from HP and not just some older design. It comes with the latest Zen 3 CPU and Nvidia Ampere GPU alongside a fast 144 Hz IPS display. The Razer Blade 15 with the same GPU and slower Intel CPU costs over $500 more than this HP in comparison.
The main drawback to this deal is the limited 8 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. Fortunately, users can remove the bottom panel and upgrade both RAM and storage whenever they wish after purchasing. Keep in mind that the AMD system lacks Thunderbolt support unlike on the Omen 15 SKUs with Intel CPUs.
