Qualcomm has refreshed its Snapdragon 7c platform aimed at entry-level Windows 10 on ARM PCs and Chromebooks to the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2. An Alder Lake-P engineering sample has been spotted on Geekbench offering up a mixed bag of results that might not overawe anyone at the moment but does hint at greater things to come. Amid the ongoing Chia boom, Seagate just announced an HDD that's as fast as SATA SSDs

Seagate recently announced the 14TB Mach.2 hard disk drive, with a maximum sustained transfer speed of 524 MB/s. This would put its throughput in line with many conventional SATA SSDs and several times faster than other commercial HDDs.
