Honor has announced the date for when it will unveil the Honor 60 series. The company has also released its first teaser video that hints at an in-display camera and a special edition model.

Honor has finally confirmed when it will announce the Honor 60 series, which has already leaked a few times this month. Writing on Weibo, Honor states that it will unveil its next smartphones on December 1 at 19:30 China Standard Time (CST). For context, 19:30 CST equates to 11:30 Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) and 05:30 Central Standard Time (CST).

Currently, Honor has not published any details about any Honor 60 series device. Incidentally, a leaker may have revealed the Honor 60's camera arrangement, on which we have reported separately. Supposedly, Honor will release three smartphones under the Honor 60 name: the Honor 60, Honor 60 SE and the Honor 60 Pro.

However, it has released a teaser video that we have embedded below. Unsurprisingly, the video is light on details, but it implies a few things about the Honor 60 series. For one, Honor will release a starlight-themed variant, presumably the Pro or a special edition model. Additionally, Honor has equipped at least one of its next smartphones with a quad-curved display, championed by the likes of Huawei.

Moreover, the video hints at the Honor 60 series featuring an in-display camera, as popularised by Samsung, Xiaomi and ZTE. Unfortunately, Honor has not confirmed if it plans to release the Honor 60 series globally.
