Garmin has just launched the Fenix 9 and Fenix 9 Pro globally. While those smartwatches have not started shipping, an unreleased model has appeared in a new leak. Seemingly a new high-end smartwatch, the new model is rumoured to be the long-awaited Garmin Enduro 4.

The dust has barely settled on the launches of both the Fenix 9 and Fenix 9 Pro. In fact, neither smartwatch will be available to order until August 28. At this stage, Garmin has not revealed when its smartwatches will begin shipping, either.

Nonetheless, more evidence that the company is actively developing a new high-end model has emerged online. Previously, Garmin was rumoured to be launching the Fenix 9 Pro and Enduro 4 simultaneously. However, that did not come to pass. In fact, there was no mention of a new Enduro smartwatch whatsoever in the company's 'Play Harder' event to replace the existing Enduro 3 (curr. $749 on Amazon).

Seemingly, the Enduro 4 has reappeared at a new regulatory body, though. Specifically, Garmin News has spotted a mysterious model, A05197, being certified in Indonesia. As the screenshot below shows, Garmin was issued with a certification on August 25, the day of its Fenix 9 series event.

Unfortunately, the SDPPI has not revealed more information yet. With that being said, Garmin typically categorises a new high-end smartwatch as an 'Outdoor Product'. Hence, A05197 is likely a new Fenix 9 spin-off rather than a mid-range or budget model. Reportedly, the Enduro 4 will launch with a memory-in-pixel MiP display and solar charging, just like the Fenix 9 Pro Solar. Other details remain unknown at this stage.
