New Garmin Alpha LTE GPS tracker arrives

The LTE coverage area includes France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark, and multi-band GNSS allows for precise location monitoring. You can then track your dog's movements on your phone via the accompanying Alpha app for iOS or Android. It's worth noting that a subscription is required for this service, charged at €59.99 yearly. Other app uses include marking information such as waypoints and trails on the integrated maps, which you can also use for navigation. Alternatively, you can track your dog using a compatible Garmin wearable, like the Instinct 2 smartwatch.

A rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the device for up to 18 hours in Dynamic Tracking mode or 75 hours when LTE is switched off. Other features include an LED light to help you see your dog in darker conditions, with color options including yellow, magenta, cyan, white, green, red and blue. The collar measures 70 x 35.8 x 30.7 mm (~2.8 x 1.4 x 1.2-in), weighs 50.8g (~1.8 oz) and recharges via USB-C. You can now buy the Garmin Alpha LTE in countries such as France, Germany and Sweden for €299.99/3,749 SEK. Plus, a user manual on the Garmin US site suggests that the new product could also arrive here, though a timeframe and pricing remain unclear.
