Neverness to Everness launches April 29

Neverness to Everness, the supernatural urban open-world RPG from Hotta Studio, the team behind Tower of Fantasy, hits iOS, Android, PS5, and PC on April 29, 2026. China gets the game six days earlier on April 23. The April 20 pre-launch livestream confirmed two major collaborations alongside new modes, PS5 Pro support, and a gacha structure generous enough to make competing titles look stingy.
Hethereau, anomalies, and an antique shop
The game drops players into Hethereau, a neon-lit city where supernatural anomalies bleed into everyday life. You play an Appraiser operating out of an antique shop, investigating and containing those anomalies with a rotating cast of companions. Outside of combat, the world supports driveable vehicles, property ownership, fishing, swimming, climbing, and a mahjong mini-game. The technical foundation is Unreal Engine 5, with full ray tracing on PC from day one and PS5 Pro enhancements confirmed at launch.
Persona 5 tracks and Porsche on the streets
Persona 5 Royal music lands in the game at launch, playable through the in-car radio while driving through Hethereau and through a new Walkman feature that lets you carry the soundtrack on foot. Tower of Fantasy tracks are also included. A Porsche collaboration is confirmed and will bring driveable models to the game in a post-launch update. It is a bold set of partnerships for a mobile launch title, and the Persona 5 angle in particular is likely to pull in players who would not otherwise look at a gacha RPG.
First-person mode and co-op
The livestream also confirmed a first-person perspective option, new co-op stages, and expanded city activities including a social system and updated travel mechanics.
470 free pulls and no 50/50
This is where Neverness to Everness separates itself from most of its competition. Players can earn up to 470 free pulls through pre-registration rewards, daily login bonuses, and in-game events. The banner system drops the standard 50/50 mechanic entirely, with a guaranteed S-class character within 90 pulls and one banner offering a guaranteed 5-star after just 50.
Three free characters are available through launch: 5-star Chiz via gameplay, A-class Haniel from pre-registration milestones, and A-class Aurelia on day three of login bonuses. All pre-registration milestones have been reached, so every player picks up Haniel automatically. Neverness to Everness pre-registrations are now open on iOS, Android, PS5 and PC.
Mobile gamers looking for something to tide them over until April 29 can jump into Dragon Quest Smash/Grow, which launched on iOS and Android as a free roguelite RPG from Square Enix and KLabGames.
