NVIDIA's GeForce Game Ready Driver 460.79 comes with support for DLSS in Cyberpunk 2077 and Minecraft RTX for Windows 10
Less than a day ago, NVIDIA unleashed a new driver package. Labeled with the version number 460.79, the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver features DLSS support and multiple optimizations for Cyberpunk 2077, as well as many other improvements and changes.
According to NVIDIA, the new driver also comes with support for Minecraft with RTX for Windows 10, so GeForce RTX GPUs can finally render path-traced visuals and provide more than twice the level of performance available when not using NVIDIA DLSS. The list of new G-SYNC compatible displays contains five monitors, namely the Acer XV242Y and XB273U, the Gigabyte FI27Q-X, MSI MAG274R, and the Philips 275M8RZ.
Lastly, multiple games have just joined the list of titles supported by the GeForce Experience Optimal Game Settings presets. In addition to Cyberpunk 2077, the 900-game list also received titles such as Empire of Sin, FIFA 21, Ghostrunner, Surgeon Simulator 2, and so on.
As usual, the easiest way to download the new driver — which comes in a package larger than 500 MB, as usual — is via NVIDIA's GeForce Experience software. However, purists who like to get only the driver package can do it via this page.
