Microsoft has released Copilot AI for select Samsung HDTVs and monitors, with hands-free, spoken prompts.
Copilot is Microsoft's branded artificial intelligence chatbot that has been released for free on Windows 11, Edge, and elsewhere. The AI leverages Microsoft's partnership with OpenAI to incorporate the latest models, such as GPT-5.
The Copilot assistant is available for the 2025 Samsung TV models, including the Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro, The Frame models, as well as the M7, M8, and M9 smart monitors. Many of these are available at Amazon, such as this Samsung OLED HDTV.
Owners of these models can ask Copilot entertainment-related questions about the shows they watch, then it tries to answer with a mix of text and visuals. They can also ask for recommendations for shows based on specific criteria, including similarities to shows they enjoy. The AI can summarize episodes or seasons of shows to allow viewers to quickly catch up, or provide background information on the actors and other key personnel on a show.
Copilot for Samsung TVs and monitors is not limited to answering entertainment prompts and can answer general questions like any major chatbot. If owners log into their Microsoft account, Copilot can retain the chat history across all devices for better personalization and AI training.
