Samsung has updated the Galaxy S25 series once again, under four months after the arrival of the Galaxy S25 Edge (curr. $699.99 on Amazon). This time, the company has introduced a new Fan Edition (FE) model, replacing the Galaxy S24 FE that launched almost a year ago.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy S25 FE represents a 'gateway' to Galaxy AI and 'flagship essentials'. In reality, this means that the Galaxy S25 FE comes with Samsung's older Exynos 2400 chipset for an 8% performance improvement over last year's model, according to our benchmarks. For context, the more powerful Exynos 2500 exists and is available inside the Galaxy Z Flip7.
Other upgrades from the Galaxy S24 FE include a new 4,900 mAh battery, a 10% larger vapour chamber and support for 45 W wired charging. Apparently, the Galaxy S25 FE also contains an upgraded 12 MP front-facing camera and an enhanced Armor Aluminium frame too, that coincides with thickness and weight dropping to 7.4 mm and 190 g, respectively.
However, the 6.7-inch AMOLED display remains, as do last year's 50 MP primary, 12 MP ultra-wide-angle and 8 MP telephoto cameras. Likewise, this year's Fan Edition is limited to 8 GB of RAM just like last year's model. The Galaxy S25 FE is available for €749 with 128 GB of storage and for €809 with 256 GB of storage in multiple launch colours. Alternatively, Samsung will exclusively stock a 512 GB variant for €929.
