Microsoft has enhanced its Copilot AI chatbot to be more useful and autonomous for users. With newly added memory, the AI is now more personalized, can analyze surroundings in real time to answer complex prompts, and can take action on behalf of users.

Microsoft has improved its Copilot artificial intelligence chatbot with new features that improve its ability to answer questions, entertain users, and remember all the information it has talked about.

Copilot can now create customized podcasts based on personal interests and topics when users want to be entertained or learn by audio. The AI has gained the ability to conduct deep research, meaning it will tackle complex prompts by working through problems step-by-step like a human would, using information from across the web and its ability to combine answers to create useful reports.

For mobile users, the AI can see your surroundings in real-time to assist in answering questions. For Windows users, the AI can see your desktop and work with you to change settings, manipulate files, search for information, and interact with content to assist users with tasks and projects.

Copilot can now remember every interaction and chat, with permission, and all the information within. This allows the AI to create Pages that summarize personal thoughts and notes on a variety of conversations and projects. Users can customize its avatar for additional personalization.

The chatbot can provide reminders and suggestions automatically from what it has learned about your life. This also includes the ability to look for deals on items users want to shop for. The new Actions capability allows the AI to complete tasks such as book flights and dinner reservations on the user's behalf.

Microsoft Copilot is free for use in the Windows 11 operating system, Edge web browser, smartphone apps, and online. Readers who don't know how to use Copilot can read this book sold on Amazon, then try using the AI chatbot on any computer running Windows 11, like this Surface Laptop Copilot+ PC sold on Amazon.
