Last month, Google announced that it was planning to launch an app for NotebookLM. Now, it has opened pre-registrations for the app ahead of its beta launch. It has also provided screenshots that show what the app will look like.
The NotebookLM app will be available for both Android and iOS. The official account also confirmed that the app will be available for iPads, too. Once, you pre-register for the app on the Google Play Store or App Store, the app should automatically install on your device once it is available. However, you can choose to turn this off, at least on Android.
With the NotebookLM app, users will be able to create and view their notebooks; share sources such as PDFs, website links, YouTube links, copied text, and from apps on your phone; create and join audio discussions; and ask questions.
While the Android app listing does not mention a release date, the App Store listing says the NotebookLM app will be released on May 20.
