MINISFORUM V3 revealed at AMD AI PC Innovation Summit with DisplayPort input capabilities shown
MINISFORUM remains expected to release the V3 later this week, its first 2-in-1 device. For reference, the company actually markets the V3 as a 3-in-1 device on account of its DisplayPort-In connection. To recap, roughly a month has elapsed since the company shared initial V3 benchmark results, full details of which we have covered separately.
Since then, it has been gradually revealing more details about the V3 on the lead up to launch day. On the one hand, MINISFORUM claims that the V3's keyboard and mouse remain active as input devices even when the device is running as an external monitor through its DisplayPort-in connection. However, it seems that the V3 must shut down before switching to DisplayPort-in mode.
On the other hand, MINISFORUM has demonstrated that it brought the V3 to AMD's recent AI PC Innovation Summit in Beijing. Unfortunately, pricing and availability still remains unknown for now. Presumably, MINISFORUM will detail both later this week considering that it set the V3's release date set to March 29.
