Insta360 has updated its Ace Pro 2 with a series of new bundles after teasing their release a few days ago. For context, the company initially launched the Ace Pro 2 in October 2024 to rival the Hero 13 Black and Osmo Action 5 Pro (curr. $339 on Amazon). In lieu of new rivals from GoPro or DJI, Insta360 is now bundling its 8K action camera in the following bundles:
- Xplorer Pro Bundle - $518.99
- Flash Print Bundle - $579.99
- Videography Bundle Limited Edition - $604.99
- Ultimate Videography Bundle - $739.99
Arguably the most exciting of these is the Flash Print Bundle, which includes Insta360's new Pocket Printer accessory. Connected to the Ace Pro 2 via Bluetooth, the Pocket Printer features the same hardware as the Polaroid Hi-Print to create 3-inch polaroids on command. Unfortunately, it is unclear whether a Leica watermark can be disabled.
Moreover, Insta360 has updated the Xplorer Grip to the Xplorer Grip Pro, which adds exposure controls, a 1–2× slide zoom, and an extended battery. Other new improvements include a fresh set of optional lenses and Leica colour profiles. Incidentally, Insta360 is offering the latter via a v2.0.3 firmware update that introduces updated film filters too. Please see Insta360's website for more details.
