In the most recent camera test video posted by Versus on YouTube, the Vivo X200 Ultra proved its worth once more. Having previously beaten competing flagships in zoom and portrait tests, it has now emerged best in night photography, and with a big margin.
While the previous tests involved 8–9 smartphones, this one involved only four: the Vivo X200 Ultra, the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max, the Pixel 10 Pro XL (curr. $1,199 on Amazon), and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $1,090 on Amazon). The test was split into categories like wide, portrait, and ultra-wide, and telephoto.
Starting off with wide photos, the X200 Ultra quickly established superiority and maintained its lead throughout the rest of the test. For this new test, the Pixel 10 Pro XL was used in place of the Pixel 9 Pro XL, but that wasn't enough to make the Pixel act like it was competition.
Here is how the phones ranked in the end:
- Google Pixel 10 Pro XL (6.45 points)
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (6.85 points)
- Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max (7.4 points)
- Vivo X200 Ultra (9 points)
Vivo's win is no accident, as we noted its low-light photography prowess in our review, especially the 50-MP ultra-wide-angle lens and the 200-MP telephoto lens.
