HyperX has unveiled two new 27-inch QD-OLED Omen gaming monitors with QHD resolution and refresh rates reaching up to 500 Hz. The two models differ in performance targets and feature sets, with availability and pricing yet to be announced.

HyperX has expanded its Omen gaming monitor lineup with the announcement of two new 27-inch QD-OLED models, with refresh rates reaching as high as 500 Hz. The newly revealed monitors share a QHD resolution but differ in refresh rate, connectivity, and feature sets.

The first model is a 27-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor with a 240 Hz refresh rate. It uses a 2560 × 1440 panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a quoted 0.03 ms response time. According to HyperX, the display supports HDR and offers a native contrast ratio of 1.5 million to one. Color coverage is rated at 99% Display P3 and 99% sRGB, with factory calibration targeting an average Delta E below 2.

Adaptive sync support includes Nvidia G-Sync compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium, while motion clarity is certified under VESA ClearMR 13000. Connectivity options include one DisplayPort 1.4 input, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a 3.5 mm audio output, with an adjustable stand supporting height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments.

Alongside it, HyperX also announced a higher-end 27-inch QD-OLED variant featuring an unusually high 500 Hz refresh rate at the same QHD resolution. This model adds VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and expands color coverage to 98% Display P3, 99% sRGB, and 96% Adobe RGB. Factory calibration is handled via HyperX ProLuma, with an average Delta E claimed to be below 1.

In addition to DisplayPort 1.4 and dual HDMI 2.1 inputs, the 500 Hz model includes a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and up to 100 W power delivery, a USB hub, and a dedicated KVM switch button. Motion clarity is rated at VESA ClearMR 21000, while additional features include aRGB lighting, a 3D-printable headphone hook, on-screen display controls, and HyperX OLED CoreProtect burn-in mitigation tools.
