The ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM is the smallest of the many gaming monitors that Asus is showcasing this week in Las Vegas as part of CES 2026. For context, others include the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM Gen 3 and the ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDN, full launch of which we have covered separately. As its name suggests, the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM is a 27-inch monitor with enough features to befit Asus' high-end 'ROG Swift' series.
Specifically, Asus bases the PG27UCWM around LG Display's 4th Gen Tandem OLED panel technology, which allows the monitor to run at 4K and 240 Hz or 1080p and 480 Hz using Dual Mode technology. Like the QD-OLED-backed ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDN, the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM also adopts an RGB Stripe sub-pixel layout. Theoretically, this new sub-pixel arrangement and the PG27UCWM's circa 166 PPI should help improve text clarity over older OLED monitors like the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM (curr. $1,199 on Amazon).
Moreover, the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM boasts 0.03 ms GtG response times, VRR technology and VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification for 500 nits peak brightness in SDR mode (10% APL). Also, Asus has integrated DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR20), HDMI 2.1 (FRL) and USB Type-C (90 W/DP Alt Mode) ports like the ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDN. Currently, the company has not indicated when the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM will be available, nor for how much. Potentially, Asus could share more details later this week during CES 2026, though.
