The Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDM (from $887 on Amazon) was one of the very first 32-inch gaming monitors with a 240Hz QD-OLED panel. Asus is apparently refreshing this monitor for the year 2026, as VideoCardz has already discovered the ROG Swift PG32UCDM3 on Asus’ website and published initial images and details regarding the monitor's specifications.
Asus is apparently making no major design changes, as the screen still features an illuminated ROG logo on the back and an LED that projects the ROG logo onto the desk. Most technical specifications also remain unchanged, as the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM3 will still be a 31.5-inch gaming monitor with full 4K resolution, a refresh rate of 240Hz and response time of 0.03 milliseconds.
The major new feature is the so-called "Black Shield", which is intended to reflect less ambient light, making blacks appear 40% darker in daylight while the surface is 2.5 times more scratch-resistant. The screen is certified for VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and therefore provides at least 300 nits across the entire screen and a peak HDR brightness of 500 nits.
Also new is that, in addition to USB-C with 90W Power Delivery and HDMI 2.1, the 4K OLED gaming monitor sports DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20 with a bandwidth of 80 Gbps instead of just DisplayPort 1.4 with 32 Gbps. Meanwhile, the "Neo Proximity Sensor" can automatically dim the screen when the user leaves the desk to save power and prevent burn-in.
