Huawei Mate X6 depicted as well-proportioned foldable smartphone in latest leak

Huawei's Mate X6 event is now officially well delayed compared to that of the X5 in 2023; however, the device is still thought to be on the way soon. 

Accordingly, companies in China are already making screen protectors for the device, according to Digital Chat Station. Then again, the notorious leaker has only apparently laid hands on those for the X6's cover display rather than its main folding panel.

The accessories as photographed can't really prove that the X6 has indeed gotten longer than closed compared to its predecessor as rumored. Then again, they might hint that the newer device has become a little wider instead, thereby possibly pushing into Pixel 9 Pro Fold (still currently $1,799 on Amazon) territory.

Accordingly, it is possible to speculate that the Mate X6 will have a more usable secondary screen than its probable rival the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 on its launch. It is a shame that it will no longer be as innovative as its new Mate XT sibling, however.
