Reviews for the HP OmniBook X Flip NGAI 14-fm0000ng

70% HP OmniBook X Flip 14 2026: the touchy-feely choice
Source: Creative Bloq English
The HP OmniBook X Flip 14 is not the kind of creative laptop that’s going to power through video effects or rendering. Instead, it’s a useful all-rounder that lends itself to digital art and painting, as well as all the other work that goes into running a studio. It suffers a bit in the keyboard and trackpad departments, but its bright and colourful OLED touchscreen makes it a useful drawing and media consumption tool.

Today’s laptop is a unique one. This is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop from HP, the OmniBook X Flip 14 with this model number. The model number is important as it tells what kind of specs it has. Either way, convertible laptops are not particularly common in the laptop market – so is this a good laptop? All in all, officially, this laptop is priced at RM4,999 right now, with a RM600 discount. I’d say the main reason why I like this laptop is because of the 2-in-1 convertible form factor, and there is a price premium for this form factor. I really wish that this laptop had a better display since the entire laptop’s form factor and experience leans heavily on the display.

75% HP OmniBook X Flip 14 review: A jack of all trades
Source: India Today English
The HP OmniBook X Flip 14 is a mixed bag. It’s a beautifully built 2-in-1 with a fantastic, sharp OLED display and a rock-solid hinge. For general productivity, it’s fast and capable. But its strengths are undermined by three weaknesses: a keyboard that isn’t the most comfortable for fast typing, average graphics performance, and a battery that leaves you wanting. If you are a student or professional who primarily works with documents and the web, values a great screen for watching videos, and loves the flexibility of a 2-in-1 design with an included pen, the OmniBook X Flip could be a good fit. However, if you need a machine for creative work, professional gaming, or a full day of untethered use, this "jack of all trades" unfortunately masters too few to earn a strong recommendation.

80% HP OmniBook X Flip 14 Review: Incredible Power Meets Insane Efficiency
Source: NDTV Gadgets English
The HP OmniBook X Flip 14 surely delivers a flagship thin-and-light experience at around Rs. 1.5 lakh price tag. The device comes with a premium and minimal-looking design, while the display is surely one of the biggest highlights. The 3K OLED touchscreen provides vibrant colours and deep blacks, making the whole viewing experience pleasurable. The performance is decent, and it can handle most of the workloads throughout the day. That said, the keyboard, in my opinion, could have been better, while the audio experience is sub-par compared to the rest of the competition. That said, if you are looking for a thin and light laptop that delivers a premium design and decent performance, then you can consider this machine.

Intel Arc 140V: A pretty fast integrated graphics adapter that higher-end Intel Lunar Lake family processors employ. This is a direct successor to the Arc 8; it can drive three SUHD 4320p monitors simultaneously via HDMI 2.1, eDP 1.5 and DP 2.1. With the 140V, all 2023 and 2024 games are playable at 1080p on low graphics settings.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Graphics Cards and the corresponding Benchmark List.

Core Ultra 7 258V: An upper mid-range Lunar Lake family processor. It sports 4 new Skymont E-cores and 4 new Lion Cove P-cores running at up to 3.7 GHz and 4.8 GHz respectively, along with the new Arc 140V iGPU and 32 GB of on-package LPDDR5x-8533 RAM. It essentially matches the Core Ultra 7 165U and Core i7-1360P in multi-thread performance and it eats up to 37 W when under short-term workloads.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
