The HP OmniPad 12 is a difficult device to categorise because its hardware is better suited to some workloads than others. As a tablet, it gets several important things right. The 12-inch display is sharp and responsive, the speakers are loud enough for entertainment, the design is solid and the battery can comfortably last through a workday. The bundled keyboard also makes it much more useful for writing and browsing than a standard tablet.

Retailing in India at Rs. 48,999, the HP OmniPad 12 is, in no sense, an affordable tablet. However, when you look at the package as a whole, it could make sense for select professionals who travel a lot but don't want the hassle of carrying a laptop everywhere. However, it might not be the most ideal replacement for their existing laptop, especially because of its weak chipset and a few quirks.

These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.
