Reviewers praise its improved battery life, practical design and strong display-and-stylus combination, resulting in an aggregate score of 86.9 percent. However, pricing above $3,000 and concerns about charging frequency make it less attractive to consumers who do not require enterprise features.

The new EliteBook X Flip G2i 14 makes several changes from the EliteBook X Flip G1i 14 including Intel Panther Lake options and a new integrated stylus holder. However, at $3000 or more, the convertible doesn't come cheap.

If I was in the market for a new laptop, I'd be strongly tempted by the HP EliteBook X Flip G2i. The practical and versatile 2-in-1 design, alluring array of features, killer stylus/display combo—this laptop ticks nearly every box for me. Of course, I'd still ultimately move on, because I'm not willing to pay extra for enterprise features I honestly don't need, and I also value a laptop that doesn't give me a little anxiety about whether a charger is nearby every few hours.
