Less than a month has passed since MSI introduced the M27UP alongside the M27UP ICE during Computex 2025 in Taipei. At the time, the company only revealed basic details about the pair. However, it elected against confirming when or for how much they would be available.
Nonetheless, Gigabyte is now selling one of the two in China. Specifically, the company has listed the M27UP for CNY 1,999 (~$278) on JD.com. Like the Asus ROG Strix XG27CG (curr. $449.99 on Amazon) before it, the Gigabyte M27UP offers 4K/160 Hz and 1080p/320 Hz display modes across a 27-inch IPS panel. According to Gigabyte, the mid-sized gaming monitor also delivers 1 ms GtG response times backed by AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync technologies. Moreover, the panel is rated for up to 350 nits with 95% DCI-P3 and 125% sRGB colour space coverages.
The M27UP features an adjustable stand too, as well as DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-A, USB Type-B and USB Type-C ports. Gigabyte emphasises that it has also included a 3.5 mm jack, a pair of 5 W speakers, a KVM switch and 100 x 100 mm VESA mounts. For the time being, we can only find the M27UP listed in China. Gigabyte indicates that the monitor should be receiving a global release soon, though. Unfortunately, the company has yet to share pricing details for other markets.
