Pricing and availability for Asus' first 'zero-haze' OLED gaming monitors have been now been confirmed. Starting at $799 this summer, the ROG Swift OLED XG32UCWMG will be joined by the more expensive ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWG as the first examples of Asus' and LG Display's TrueBlack Glossy coatings.

Less than a month has passed since Asus revealed initial details about its first 'TrueBlack Glossy' gaming monitors. As we lamented at the time, Asus decided against revealing when or how much the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWG and XG32UCWMG will cost.

Nonetheless, TFTCentral has managed to answer both of those questions ahead of time. To recap, Asus describes its TrueBlack Glossy coating in the following terms, which it has seemingly developed in partnership with LG Display:

The TrueBlack Glossy film pairs a zero-haze optical layer with an advanced anti-reflective stack. The zero-haze layer keeps black hues intact in any lighting, allowing the monitor to deliver deep blacks even in bright environments. For gamers seeking pristine image quality throughout the day, not just in the evening hours, these monitors are ideal picks.

According to TFTCentral, both monitors will be available from August, at least in the US. In a tweet, the website states that the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG will be the cheaper of the two at $799. By contrast, the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWG should come in at $949 thanks to its higher resolution and refresh rate.

In other words, the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWG should cost a lot less than the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM did when it arrived last year (curr. $979.99 on Amazon) with Asus' prior glossy coating.
