Genshin Impact 7.1 update: Active codes and banner pulls

Three days into Genshin Impact Version 7.1, "A Rekviem for the Underworld," HoYoverse has several redemption codes live for players to claim ahead of the game's sixth anniversary. The update launched September 23, 2026, on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, iOS and Android, and continues the Snezhnaya storyline alongside the anniversary celebrations. Players at Adventure Rank 5 or above also received 300 Primogems in compensation for the update's maintenance window.

Active codes for September 2026

Players can currently redeem VesnaOnPatrol and EPIC2026, each worth 40 Primogems, 20,000 Mora, and three Hero's Wit. The codes 2BJ64QRZ7RT8 and Y6JYMKV6JKSL each grant 60 Primogems and five Adventurer's Experience. GENSHINGIFT, a recurring code active since launch, also grants 50 Primogems and three Hero's Wit. Codes can be redeemed through the in-game settings menu under Account or via HoYoverse's official redemption portal and require Adventure Rank 10 or higher.

The three Version 7.1 Special Program livestream codes, Rekviem, Vesna0923, and PrimaDonna, expired on September 15 and can no longer be claimed. Separately, the direct sixth-anniversary mail containing 1,600 Primogems and 10 Intertwined Fates begins arriving in players' inboxes from September 28, the game's actual anniversary date, and the Genesis Crystal first-time purchase bonus has been reset across all price tiers.

Anniversary selectors still open

Alongside the codes, two free 5-star character selectors remain open until November 3. Tabletop Troupe: A Gathering on Adventure's Eve offers a limited character from Varesa, Clorinde, Nilou, Chiori, Baizhu or Tartaglia, and requires Adventure Rank 18 plus completion of the Version 7.1 Archon Quest. A second selector, Across the Frozen Wilds: Honing One's Edge, hands out a standard-pool pick from eight characters, including Jean, Diluc, Qiqi, Mona, Keqing, Tighnari, Dehya and the newly added Yumemizuki Mizuki.

Banners and events

The Phase 1 character banners for new arrivals Vesna and Vodyanitsa run until October 13, alongside weapon banners featuring their signature Sword and Catalyst, Beyond the Chrysalis and Hymn of the Maelstrom. Phase 2 brings back Skirk and Escoffier from October 13 through November 3. The long-running Moonchase Festival also returns to Liyue's Yilong Wharf as part of the anniversary content, rewarding players with the free 4-star sword Silver Light on completion.
