Aniimo got its biggest update since it launched

Aniimo's mobile arrival came bundled with version 1.1, the game's first major content update since its September 16 debut on PC and consoles. Pawprint Studio's official update notice, titled "Setting Out in Pursuit of the Wind: Part I," confirms the patch landed across every platform during the maintenance window tied to the mobile launch, with accounts registered beforehand receiving 500 Glimmer in compensation.

Legendary Aniimo Irisalis

The attraction is a new Legendary Journey chapter built around Irisalis, available from September 25 to players who reach Student I. The chase runs through a new currency, Iris Petals, gathered on a weekly limit and spent to craft the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis, which opens a Rift Space where the creature can be found and befriended. Players who complete that step can then craft a second item, the Legendary Aniipod: Windchaser's Departure, which guarantees a successful catch, perfect innate potential, and a sparkling form, along with exclusive seasonal perks tied to the current event.

Egg Heist gets a harder tier

Operation: Egg Heist's Team Mode gains Chaos Mode, unlocked September 24 for players who reach Tier IV, or Elite Egg Seeker. Entry costs a Chaos Ticket, and the mode raises drop rates for Prismana Aniimo Eggs and Prismatic Collectibles, alongside a chance at rarer Secret Collectibles. Pawprint's notice frames it as high-risk, citing strict escape conditions, and recommends tackling it as a group rather than solo.

A new weekly co-op mode

The update also introduces Holo-Battle Interlink, a weekly co-op mode built around three separate routes per cycle, each with its own Alpha encounter and environmental twist. Players choose buffs before battle; in co-op, the team leader makes that call, and every route can be replayed freely. Rewards scale with a combined Star Rank tracked across all three routes, alongside separate Support Rewards for helping other players improve theirs. Both reset weekly. 

Two further limited-time events, Glamour Star and an Aniimo Discovery research chain, round out the update. The game is available on Google Play and iOS.
