Neverness to Everness Version 1.4 officially live

Hotta Studio and Perfect World Games have released version 1.4, titled "For Whom the Verses Mourn," for Neverness to Everness. The update went live on September 30, 2026, after a five-hour maintenance window that ran from 06:00 to 11:00 (UTC+8). The free-to-play supernatural urban open-world RPG is available on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android.

Two limited S-class characters

The update is split into two phases. Phase 1 runs from September 30 to October 21 and introduces Blackbird, a limited S-class Psyche character tagged as a main DPS. Her Foretold Finale banner shares the cycle with a rerun of Lacrimosa on the Fading Reverie banner. Blackbird's Rouge et Noir outfit is a reward for accumulating rolls in the Skin Perks event.

Phase 2 begins on October 21 and runs until November 11. It brings Akane Rin, a limited S-class Lakshana character, also tagged as a main DPS, on the Dazzling Star banner.

Pukaland opens its gates

The new location is Pukaland, a theme park with four distinct zones that was previously a gated landmark in Hethereau. It arrives alongside a new main story episode called "The Witch," a spinoff storyline titled "To Us, Back Then," and a new location anomaly named St. Arbor. A City Tycoon feature adds the Puka Membership Program. This leveled track unlocks rewards such as outfits for Haniel, Baicang, and Sakiri, along with accessories, avatar frames, and selection boxes. Players can also spend funds on some of the new accessories.

Porsche collaboration continues

Neverness to Everness Version 1.4 is the second phase of the Porsche collaboration. Two new vehicles, the Porsche 911 Turbo (930) and the Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach Package, are available from Mystery Boxes. The new Porsche Club adds the classic Salzburg livery, free customization including special liveries and performance parts, and rewards such as a furniture item, name card, phone case, wallpaper, and title.

Rewards and compensation

Players who created a character before 06:00 (UTC+8) on September 30 receive 300 Annulith as maintenance compensation and another 300 Annulith as bug fix compensation, sent by in-game mail. The Pukaland Fest Special Gift Pack delivers 10 Solid Dice and the Like Clockwork Avatar frame after the first update, then Akane's House Special outfit and 2,000,000 Fons after the October 21 update.
