Deal | Nintendo Switch exclusive game with 96% rating drops from $60 to $6

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, the 2022 Nintendo Switch exclusive published by Ubisoft, is currently available for $6 on the Nintendo eShop. This represents a 90% reduction from its regular $60 price, making the tactical strategy game substantially cheaper than most first-party Nintendo releases. The deal is available until October 8.

The game combines Mario characters with Ubisoft’s Rabbids in an action-adventure tactical RPG that follows Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and their allies as they travel across the galaxy to confront a hostile entity and rescue their Spark companions. Although it is a sequel to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, the story is sufficiently standalone that newcomers can play without having to complete the earlier game.

Sparks of Hope has a rating of 96% from review aggregator OpenCritic and won "Best Strategy/Simulation Game" at The Game Awards following its release. The main campaign takes around 20 hours, while additional content can extend the experience to roughly 30–35 hours. The game is playable on Nintendo Switch 2 via backward compatibility, although it does not currently have a dedicated Switch 2 version.
