After weeks of leaks and rumors, Samsung has now officially launched its latest mid-range tablet, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, joining the flagship Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (curr. at $979.99 on Amazon), the Galaxy Tab S10+, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE, and the Tab S10 FE+ in the brand’s roster. Samsung’s latest mid-range tablet brings a decent set of features for the price.
Like the S10 FE, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite features a 10.9-inch TFT LCD display that outputs at 2112 x 1320p (WUXGA+) resolution with a peak brightness of 600 nits. Dimensionally, the tablet measures 165.8 x 254.3 x 6.6 mm (6.52 x 10 x 0.25 inches) and weighs around 524 grams (1.15 lbs), excluding any accessories. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by Samsung's two-year-old in-house Exynos 1380 chipset paired with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 2 TB via micro-SD card.
The S10 Lite also retains the same battery capacity as the Tab S10 FE, featuring an 8,000 mAh battery. Software-wise, the device runs Android 15 out of the box, and there’s no word on software support yet. Speaking of the design, the tablet looks very similar to its siblings. However, it sports much thicker bezels. For photography, you’ll get an 8 MP rear shooter and a 5 MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats.
Other Galaxy Tab S10 Lite features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, 5G, and a bunch of new AI features such as circle to search and handwriting assist. Moreover, the tablet is compatible with the in-box S Pen and a book cover keyboard.
