Samsung plans to present its new tablets before the end of the year. The South Korean company will launch the Galaxy Tab S11 series as its premium offerings for this generation, but will also debut the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite as a more affordable option, with details of that tablet now surfacing.
According to Roland Quandt of Winfuture, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is rather close to launch and could be unveiled next month at IFA. The mid-range tablet will sport a 10.9-inch FHD+ LCD with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 26.2 ms latency.
Design-wise, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite will feature a metal build but will sport much thicker bezels than Samsung's more premium tablets. The tablet is said to be 6.6 mm thick, and will weigh 524g. Reportedly, it will offer a microSD slot, a USB 3.2 Type-C port, and two speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Other key specs of the Tab S10 Lite include Samsung's in-house Exynos 1380—a mid-range chipset from 2023—optionable 5G support, an 8 MP rear camera, a 5 MP selfie camera, up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, and Android 15-based One UI 7 with seven years of software updates promised.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is expected to start at €399.99 in its most basic form with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Adding 5G support to that takes the cost up to €459.99. The Wi-Fi only model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is tipped to cost €469.99, with the addition of 5G taking the total tally to €529.99.
