GTA 6: Several new clues emerge – is trailer 3 finally coming?

According to GTA content creator iGrandTheftAuto, the official GTA 6 website was updated three times within just a few hours on July 29. While there are no visible changes, fans still believe the updates could mean something – and not without reason. A similar situation occurred on June 17, when the website was also updated. One day later, Rockstar revealed the official GTA 6 cover art and announced that preorders had opened. Some fans therefore believe another major announcement could be on the way this time as well, whether that's Trailer 3 or perhaps an extended gameplay showcase.
More clues fuel the speculation
The website updates aren't the only reason fans are expecting a third trailer. Well-known insider NateTheHate recently said he expects to see more from Rockstar in August. The leaker has accurately predicted Rockstar-related announcements in the past. The calendar also provides another possible clue. On August 7, Rockstar's parent company Take-Two Interactive will present its latest financial results. Releasing new marketing material ahead of an investor earnings call to highlight positive developments would certainly not be unprecedented.
Then there's an even more unusual source of speculation: pizza. One Reddit user runs a Pizza Delivery Tracker that monitors orders placed with major pizza chains near Rockstar's headquarters. According to the tracker, demand has increased noticeably in recent days. The tongue-in-cheek theory is that the surge in pizza orders could be a sign of employees working overtime – possibly to prepare a presentation or even finalize the release of the third trailer.
Between excitement and eye-rolling
On Reddit, there's still plenty of hope that Trailer 3 will arrive soon. At the same time, however, many fans have grown frustrated with the tendency to interpret every small Rockstar activity as a major hint. The general consensus is that new information about Grand Theft Auto VI (available for preorder on Amazon) will likely arrive before long given the approaching release – but whether the recent website updates have anything to do with it remains pure speculation. After all, they could just as easily be routine maintenance.
