OnePlus not only delivers a strong tablet overall in the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro for a relatively low price, but the outstanding battery life of the 13.2-inch tablet is also a strong purchase argument. However, the relatively inexpensive flagship tablet is currently limited in its availability.

The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro proves itself to be a true all-rounder in our detailed review. With its huge 13.2-inch LTPS display and fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, it is a powerful all-round tablet for all scenarios. In the mid-price segment, the OnePlus tablet offers strong selling points and faces little competition in the mid-range; possible alternatives are to be found mostly in the high-end range, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.

Despite its slim chassis, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro has a generous battery capacity of 12,140 mAh. This battery can be quickly charged with up to 67 watts, which is significantly faster than, for example, an Apple iPad Air 13, which requires a maximum of 20 watts of power and around 2.5 hours for a full charge. The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro, on the other hand, charges much faster with the corresponding power adapter at around 1.5 hours.

Outstanding runtimes

Thanks to the large battery capacity and the efficient Qualcomm SoC, the battery life of the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is impressive across the board. At an adjusted display brightness of 150 cd/m², the premium tablet reaches almost 24 hours in our Wi-Fi test and over a day in continuous video playback. By comparison, the Apple iPad Air 13 only manages about 13 to 14 hours.

Interested readers can read our detailed review to find out more about what other strengths the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro offers over the Apple iPad Air 13 despite its significantly lower price.
