Hardly any time has passed since Ayaneo released a gaming handheld. To recap, the company started selling the Pocket Micro Classic last week for marginally less than the Pocket Micro.
As we discussed at the time, the Pocket Micro Classic simplifies the Pocket Micro by removing its joysticks, albeit only for a $10 discount. Prior to that, it released the Ayaneo 3 as its new high-end gaming handheld option to rival the OneXFly F1 Pro (curr. $1,149.99 on Amazon).
Now, Ayaneo has started teasing the Pocket Ace, although it has not revealed what the device looks like yet. Instead, it has offered a few hints about how the Pocket Ace will shape up when it eventually launches. For one, the inclusion of the device within its Pocket series confirms that it will run Android, not Windows.
By extension, the Pocket Ace will feature an ARM chipset rather than an x86-based equivalent. While the company has not confirmed any further details in this regard, it has hinted that the Pocket Ace will deliver 'top-tier performance'. Ayaneo has also outlined that the device has a horizontal layout, as well as a retro aesthetic and a 'perfect size'. No other information about the Ayaneo Pocket Ace has been revealed yet.
