After launching the Aorus 15 earlier this year, it was inevitable that Gigabyte would eventually offer a new 17.3-inch model. The manufacturer is expected to show off the Aorus 7 at Computex 2019 next week where we'll likely learn more about its design and conception.
The Aorus 7 differs from the last generation flagship Aorus X7 in that it targets more mid-range gamers looking for a premium experience without breaking the bank. As such, the new system will be slightly thicker than the X7 with GPU options ranging from the GTX 1050 to the GTX 1660 Ti and RTX 2060 depending on the configuration. Gamers who want even faster performance can opt for the Aorus 15 with the RTX 2070 GPU.
Other key features include a 144 Hz 1080p display as standard which we hope will become commonplace on more gaming laptops. Intel 9th gen Core i9-9750H CPU, 3x internal storage bays, and an Intel 760p PCIe SSD round up the package.
Find out more about the Aorus 7 through its official specifications and product page here. The 17.3-inch system will compete directly against other mid-range laptops including the Asus ROG GL704, Acer Predator Helios 500, Lenovo Legion Y740, Dell Gaming G series, and the MSI GL series.
