The refreshed Aorus 15 challenges gamers to push 240 FPS on its new Sharp panel and 9th gen Core i7 CPU. Budget-conscious users can opt in for the newer GTX 1660 Ti SKU that promises GTX 1050 Ti-level performance.

The Aorus 15 launched earlier this year to supplant the last generation Aorus X5. Gigabyte has been marketing the newer model as a more affordable mainstream offering in contrast to the enthusiast-focused Aorus X models.

Gigabyte will be adding at least three more SKUs to the Aorus 15 lineup that include the recently announced Intel 9th gen CPU and the wallet-friendly GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU. In contrast to the Core i9 and Nvidia Max-Q-powered Aero 15 Classic, the Aorus 15 will be limited to the Core i7-9750H but with full-power "Max-P" GeForce RTX 2070 options.

A new 240 Hz Sharp IGZO FHD panel will be made available as well. This will likely be the same 240 Hz panel that is expecting to ship on the Aero 15 Classic, Razer Blade 15, HP Omen 15, and a number of Asus ROG laptops.

Gigabyte has not announced any prices yet for its refreshed Aorus 15 lineup. Since the external chassis remains identical to the one revealed at CES 2019, however, we recommend checking out our original Aorus 15 review and the official landing page for more information about the laptop.
