Amazfit teases a New Version of the GTS 2 Mini to launch in India soon
Amazfit may have found that its GTS 2 sold quite well, as it subsequently launched a Mini variant of the same watch which, despite its name, proved more than major enough in its own right in our review. The 2 Mini may also have met with approval from consumers, particularly those located in India, in turn, as its maker has now prepared a refreshed version for launch on that market soon.
This Amazfit GTS 2 Mini New Version (literally its product name) has largely the same specs as its immediate predecessor, its AMOLED display, "ultra-slim and light" build and estimated 14-hour battery life included. However, this new iteration comes in a new choice of colors (Meteor Black, Breeze Blue and Flamingo Pink).
The GTS 2 Mini New Version also differs from the original in that it lacks a barometric altimeter this time around, meaning it drops tracking for sports and activities such as skiing and snowboarding from its UI. To this end, it is priced at INR 5,999 (~US$80) as opposed to the INR 6,999 (~$93) of the current 2 Mini on amazon.in right now.
Furthermore, Amazfit will start the New Version at INR 4,999 (~$66) via its own site or on Amazon - but only on its launch day of April 11, 2022.
