Upcoming Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4 smartwatches to be joined by GTS 4 Mini and maybe even a Pro model
New Amazfit GT-series fashion watches are likely to be revealed by Zepp Health in the third quarter of 2022, which will likely be the Amazfit GTR 4 (the watch with a round face) and the Amazfit GTS 4 (the watch with a square face). The Amazfit GTR and GTS watches have been well-received in the past by offering a decent number of features and great designs for affordable prices. For instance, the current Amazfit GTR 3 Pro comes with an AMOLED panel, 24-hour health management capability, 12-day battery life, and sharp looks at an attractive price tag of US$189.99/£179.
It has already been mentioned that the Amazfit GT 4 series is on the way, with a Zepp Health spokesperson stating they would come a few months after new Bip models. This would suggest a potential October release date for the Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4, which would fall into line with the October 2021 launch of the GTR 3 and GTS 3 smartwatches. Some further digging by Gadgets&Wearables has revealed that there will be at least three SKUs in the fourth-generation of GT fashion watches, with possibly a fourth model being included in the lineup.
An FCC listing for an “A2176 Smart Watch Label Diagram Anhui Huami Information Technology” actually reveals this is for the Amazfit GTS 4 Mini. This fact is given away in an image of the product ID label that is also part of the documents stored by the FCC. There has been a similar device in the range before, with the Amazfit GTS 2 Mini featuring in the second-generation lineup. The source opines that a Pro model may also be included, although this would be more likely for the round-faced GTR family, with a potential Amazfit GTR 4 Pro simply being the successor to the GTR 3 Pro.
